Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Limited proudly celebrated its 18th anniversary on 07th of February 2025, with a charm ceremony. The event was inaugurated by Chairman/CEO Brigadier Jude Fernando (Retd.) Dip. in Psy. & Counselling and Head of Administration Major General A. K. P. Wickramasinghe (Retd.) VSV, USP, MBA – Cardiff UK, with the participation of all heads of divisions.
The ceremony commenced with the hosting of Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Limited flag by the Chairman/CEO Brigadier Jude Fernando (Retd.) Dip. in Psy. & Counselling and two minutes silence to commemorating war heroes and deceased staff members of the RALL for their commitments and sacrifices. The ceremonial lighting of the traditional oil lamp represented enlightenment, strength, and a bright business future ahead.
Multi-religious observances were conducted with the blessings of the Buddhist clergy, Catholic priest, Hindu priest and a Muslim cleric.
A special sermon of bana, delivered by Venerable Boralle Athula Thero, highlighted the spiritual reflection and guidance to develop the business and emphasize the importance of the individual and collective responsibilities of each staff member towards the company. In line with its tradition of service beyond duty, the company has also made arrangements to host its annual blood donation program, reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility.
