රත්නපුර විදේශ සේවා නියුත්ති කාර්යාංශ කාර්යාලයේ රාජකාරියේ සේවයේ නියුතුව සිටි කණිෂ්ඨ ආරක්ෂක නිළධාරි කේ. ඒ. ඩබ්ලිව්. සෝමසිරි මහතා 2023.02.11 දින අනපේක්ෂිත ලෙස අනතුරකට ගොදුරු වී දැනට මාස 5 ක් පමණ කාලයක් මුළුල්ලේ නාරාහේන්පිට යුධ හමුදා රෝහලේ ප්රතිකාර ලබමින් සිටිී.
ඔහුට සිදුවූ අනතුර හේතුකොට ගෙන රක්නා ආරක්ෂක ලංකා ආයතනය මගින් සෙලින්කෝ රක්ෂණ සමාගමෙන් ආයතනයේ සේවකයන් වෙනුවෙන් ලබාගෙන ඇති කම්කරු වන්දි රක්ෂණාවරණය යටතේ සහ පුද්ගල අනතුරු රක්ෂණාවරණය යටතේ කණිෂ්ඨ ආරක්ෂක නිළධාරි කේ .ඒ. ඩබ්ලිව්. සෝමසිරි මහතා පත්ව ඇති පූර්ණ අකර්මන්යතා තත්ත්වය සැලකිල්ලට ගෙන වන්දි මුදල් ලබාදීමට කටයුතු කරන ලදී. පිරිනමනු ලබන සම්පූර්ණ වන්දි මුදලේ වටිනාකම රුපියල් 3,280,000.00 කි.
ප්රධානී පාලන – මේජර් ජෙනරාල් අජිත් වික්රමසිංහ (විශ්රාමික) සහ ප්රධානී ගොඩබිම් මෙහෙයුම් – මේජර් ජෙනරාල් අනුර සුදසිංහ(විශ්රාමික) විසින් ඔහුගේ බිරිඳට ආයතනය වෙනුවෙන් චෙක්පත ප්රදානය කරන ලදී.
Mr. K. A. W Somasiri, a Junior Security Officer (JSO) who was on duty at Ratnapura Foreign Service Bureau Office. Unfortunately, he met with an unexpected accident on 11.02.2023 and he is currently receiving his treatments at Narahenpita Army Hospital for nearly 5 months.
Considering his disablement which occurred due to the accident, the junior security officer Mr. K.A. W Somesiri was entitled for the compensation under the workers’ compensation insurance and personal accident insurance which is given by the Rakna Security Lanka Limited. It has been taken steps ahead to pay benefits considering his disablement of him under the workman compensation insurance and Personal accident insurance scheme. The total amount of benefits (compensation) provided is 3,280,000.00 rupees.
Cheque was awarded to his wife by Major General Ajith Wickramasighe (Retd) – Head of Administration and Major General Anura Sudasinghe (Retd) – Head of Land Operations on behalf of the Company.
